Job Description

  • Lead technical engagement with clients, identifying application opportunities aligned with engineering capabilities.
  • Translate customer requirements into detailed technical specifications and collaborate with R&D teams to assess feasibility and develop customised solutions.
  • Present product portfolios with a strong understanding of engineering design, system integration, and performance optimisation.
  • Guide clients through the technical onboarding process, from concept development to solution implementation.
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals and business cases to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project execution, ensuring alignment with technical objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate across engineering, design, and product teams to support solution delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Support market expansion through technical analysis of emerging trends and application potential

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Application Lead should have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in product development or application engineering.
  • Proven experience in client-facing technical roles, including solution design and proposal development.
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and executive levels.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and market growth.
