Job Description

  • Business and market Development: Identify opportunities within the healthcare sector for workwear sales, and assess key market trends and competitors.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through partnerships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Account Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with existing accounts, while driving new business development across the region.
  • Brand Building: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop tailored strategies that enhance brand presence and engagement within the healthcare sector.
  • Tradeshow Participation: Represent the brand at industry events and tradeshows to build networks and generate leads.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute annual and long-term sales strategies aligned with the company's goals, focusing on both sell-in and sell-out activities.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide regular business reviews, performance updates, and insight into market conditions to senior leadership

A successful candidate for this role will be a proactive self-starter with a proven track record of building business from the ground up. They are a true hunter, skilled in identifying new opportunities, developing relationships, and closing deals in competitive markets. With exceptional business development skills, they can effectively open doors, build and manage a sales pipeline, and drive growth by converting leads into long-term clients. Their ability to navigate complex sales cycles and close high-value deals sets them apart, making them adept at establishing a strong market presence from scratch.Industry experience in workwear, particularly in healthcare apparel, is highly valuable for this role. Familiarity with the unique demands of uniforms and apparel in healthcare settings will give candidates an edge in understanding client needs and regulatory requirements. Experience in related sectors will also be beneficial, with the successful candidate being able to provide insight into managing product lines, working with distributors, and driving both B2B and B2C sales.The ideal candidate must be flexible and open to frequent travel across Australia, New Zealand, and the wider APAC region. This role requires a hands-on approach to building relationships, attending industry events, and working closely with key partners to drive business development.
