About Our Client
With a global presence, this organisation is a leader in production and servicing of various types of high-strength rubber conveyor belts. The products are widely used in industrial bulk material handling across mining, ports, construction and other sectors.
Reporting to the CEO, this role will be focusing on the development of new business across WA primarily within the mining sector. You will be tasked with networking with a wide range of customers including site and corporate visits. Taking initiative in the development of a strategy in conjunction with the CEO, this role will be autonomous in nature when it comes to execution of the development of new business. Ideally this role will be on a part time basis and will require regular travel.
The Successful Applicant
With an extensive background in sales and business development across the mining industry in WA, your core strengths will include the development of new business. You will have a technical understanding of the material handling industry as well as strong commercial acumen. It is critical that you are able to work in an autonomous fashion to deliver when it comes to achieving sales targets. Having a mechanical trade or qualification is advantageous and it is essential that you have a local network.
