Our client is a well-established organisation in the engineering industry, known for their innovative HVAC & Data Centre solutions. With a strong presence in the market, they provide cutting-edge products and services to their clients.

Job Description

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the data centres sector across East Coast Australia.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with data centre owners & contractors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions to meet client needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, lunch & learns etc.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Data Centres BDM should have:

  • Proven experience in a business development or sales role in the Data Centre industry, targeting both owners and contractors.
  • Strong knowledge of the Data Centres sector and its unique requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to achieving targets.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills.
  • A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel as needed.
