Job Description

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across wholesale, distribution and OEM channels in NSW.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance and forecasts to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role within the Smart Infrastructure/IoT sector OR the Building Supplies sector.
  • Strong understanding economics.
  • Strong understanding of the NSW market and client base.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • A proactive and results-driven approach to achieving sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A valid driver's licence for travel within NSW.
