Job Description

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the financial services sector.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customised financial solutions to clients.
  • Prepare and present proposals, ensuring they align with client needs and organisational goals.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs as set by the organisation.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the company's offerings.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

  • A strong background in sales and business development, within the insurance and brokerage space.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • A deep understanding of financial products and services.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
  • A valid driver's licence for travel within the Sydney region.
