Job Description

The overall purpose of this role is to focus on new business sales to ensure both sales volumes and customer numbers are achieved. You will be responsible for:

  • Achieving growth in new business sales and renewable portfolio products and services to customers in the allocated territory or segment
  • Developing a sales pipeline through building prospect lists and intensive calling.
  • Bringing in new customer numbers and maximising contributions toward the Sales team budget.
  • Delivering on exceptional customer service to ultimately achieve sales growth and increase gross profit
  • Managing both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the bid is submitted on time and to the highest possible quality

The Successful Applicant

  • Must have sales experience dealing with high level decision makers in the B2B space
  • Must have technical aptitude and experience in a technical sales role, ideally with industrial products
  • Must have experience in a small to medium enterprise B2B sales role.
  • Evidence of successful sales experience and resilience, exhibiting a 'Hunter' mentality.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent sales, presentation, and negotiation skills with hands on experience in relationship management
