Job Description

  • Identify and secure new clients within the VIC and TAS regions, focusing on freight forwarding and logistics services.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow market share and revenue in your territories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term partnerships and continued growth.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor logistics solutions that meet customer needs and drive satisfaction.
  • Provide regular sales updates and pipeline forecasts to senior management.
  • Lead contract negotiations and deliver impactful presentations to prospective clients.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven track record in business development within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong understanding of the Victoria and Tasmania markets and key industries within the regions.
  • Exceptional skills in solution-based selling, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Strong client relationship management abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
