Job Description

The Key responsibilities of the Business Development Manager role are;

  • Achieve sales targets through lead generation, client acquisition, and successful tendering for medium to large contracts.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the commercial, healthcare, retail, and industrial sectors.
  • Manage and optimise costs to meet budget expectations while driving revenue growth.
  • Conduct cold calls and lead generation activities to build a robust pipeline of potential clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the management team to align business development strategies with company goals.
  • Report on sales performance and market trends, providing insights for continuous improvement

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the Business Development Manager role should have;

  • A proven track record in hunting new business, ideally within the services industry.
  • Strong sales acumen with experience in lead generation and securing contracts.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
