Our innovative approach to materials management and commitment to sustainable practices have earned us a spot in the top three global players in the industry, with an annual revenue of USD 340 million. Now, we're looking to enhance our local market presence and are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Development Manager or Commodity Trader to lead our Australian expansion.

Job Description

Material Sourcing and Sales:

  • Develop and implement tailored strategies to identify and secure sourcing opportunities within Australia.
  • Balance sourcing efforts with sales activities to grow the company's footprint in the Australian market.
  • Foster strong, long-term relationships with local suppliers and clients, ensuring consistent supply and quality.
  • Negotiate and close deals that align with company objectives and local market conditions.



Market Analysis and Strategy Development:

  • Conduct detailed research on the Australian ferrous materials market, identifying key trends and opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with our global teams to share leads and strategies, particularly in the early stages of market penetration.
  • Continuously refine sourcing and sales strategies based on real-time market feedback and evolving industry dynamics.

The Successful Applicant

We are seeking a candidate who understands the Australian market landscape, with:
