  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial, mining and manufacturing sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure tailored solutions meet client needs.
  • Prepare detailed proposals, presentations, and contracts for prospective clients.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Provide regular sales performance reports and forecasts to management.
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in sales or business development within the industrial, mining, oil and gas or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Capability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A solid understanding of the industrial and manufacturing market in Welshpool or similar regions.
  • A valid driver's licence to facilitate client visits and travel.
