About Our Client

Develop and implement the Category Management strategy in line with over-riding strategy and the customer economic model.
Leverage this knowledge / expertise to inform brand commercial strategy, portfolio strategy, category plans & tactics.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the industry, categories and consumer dynamics, and identification of new opportunities to understand market trends and their impact on the category
Management of NPD lines - ensuring first to market for relevant products
Develop all category business plans and planograms including growth targets
Communications to stores and internal cross functional engagement is clear and relevant
Liaise with external and internal departments in regards to stock availability/movement and achievement of objectives
Deliver a consumer driven promotional program utilising and integrating Loyalty, Multi-Channel and Marketing toolkit
The Successful Applicant
You'll have 3-5 years Category Management experience. You will have developed and had success in the implementation of effective category strategies while having experience working with and managing suppliers. You'll have demonstrated analytical, problem solving and planning skills relating to category management as well as people management skills - motivating and managing a team to achieve successful business outcomes. Experience in the development, management and analysis of financial reports and budgets.
