The Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board are actively seeking a commercial CFO to navigate the organisation through this exciting change!

Job Description

As the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in leading the finance function and provide senior management with high-level financial advice. You will ensure compliance with policies, systems, and regulatory requirements while offering strategic recommendations to the CEO and leadership team. You will front investors and handle the banking relationships in Australia. You will oversee the financial operations of subsidiary entities whilst playing a key role in safety, risk & compliance. The finance team and function have done well to keep up with the unprecedented growth. The organisation now realises the need to build for the future.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will look as follows;

  • Demonstrated leadership skills in building relationships and fostering commerciality within an organisation.
  • Construction experience at a T1 operator or commercial CFO experience with extensive operational expenditure (OPEX) would be helpful.
  • Strong focus on efficiency and technology, with a track record of driving financial strategies rather than building empires.
  • Proven ability to instill confidence in the boardroom, with banks & investors, yet establish credibility at construction sites.
  • Experience scaling a company from small cap to big business or an individual who understands how to navigate a large corporate successfully.
  • Familiarity with banking funding, investment, and governance.
