Our client is a Melbourne‑based wealth advisory and financial services firm specialising in tax optimisation, investment strategy, wealth management, and goals‑based financial advice. The business primarily supports high‑net‑worth individuals, sophisticated investors, charitable foundations, and private families, offering personalised, strategy‑driven financial planning and long‑term portfolio management.

Job Description

  • Prepare, review, and organise client documentation, forms, and advice files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage client communication, meeting scheduling, follow-ups, and maintain accurate records within internal systems.
  • Support advisors with meeting preparation, data collection, and implementation tasks.
  • Liaise with product providers, accountants, and other third parties to obtain required information.
  • Track workflows, deadlines, and outstanding actions to ensure advice processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Build knowledge of advice processes, compliance requirements, and product fundamentals, with scope to take on broader responsibilities over time.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in client services, administration, or finance support, ideally within financial planning, wealth management, insurance, or accounting.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and documentation accuracy.
  • Foundational understanding of the financial advice landscape or basic accounting and financial concepts.
  • Clear, professional communication skills and confidence dealing with clients and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or Finance preferred, though relevant experience is highly regarded.
  • Motivated to develop technical knowledge and capabilities, with the potential to progress toward advisory responsibilities over time.
