Job Description

  • Lead and manage the procurement of medical consumables for our hospitals, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality supplies.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with our organisational goals and compliance requirements.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring favourable terms.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to understand their needs and ensure that procurement activities support clinical operations.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimising wastage.



The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years within healthcare consumables
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management
  • Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS) is a plus.
