Job Description

Contribute to the analysis of information, specifications, process steps and equipment required on power generation (combined electrical and heat) installations.

Contribute to the design of engineering solutions on power generation projects, looking continuously for alternatives to reduce the energy consumption and plant efficiencies.

Champion on standardization for related equipment.

Participate actively in project development and execution Help others get the most out of knowledge management systems by offering support and advise.

Act as installation manager as required.

Ensure understanding and compliance with all current legal & statutory obligations including, but not limited to, SHE, HACCP, Environmental, Food Safety and employment legislation for all internal employees, external contractors etc.

As core mission of this role champion energy reduction through new developments in energy generation (power and heat), contributing to overall plant efficiencies.

Contribute to enhance the project management system, improving the process form initial ideation up to final start up and project closing, to have projects deployed on time in full specs.

Drive projects and asset care recommendations from Total Cost of Ownership point of view, working from the project preparation to final operational standard operating procedures hand out, considering the maintenance and reliability as part of this process.

Carry out inspections to evaluate the quality of the engineering/ equipment / co-generation and energy related installations to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory required.

Inspire, lead, motivate, direct and develop site teams through a recognized /structured Project Management & asset care approach so that they deliver the highest possible level of personal and collective contribution to the Business Goal

Be recognized as the internal leader on new technologies aimed to energy reduction, heat exchange and other power efficiencies.

Create and maintain a positive and results orientated environment where mutual trust, confidence and respect for company culture and values prevails

Develop, seek agreement from the Group, implement and maintain appropriate structures and manning levels in line with business needs

Ensure mutual understanding of individual roles and responsibilities for project management & asset care team

Capture new technical development knowledge and assure that is properly transfered within the global organization, included but not limited to standards energy sources like fossil fuels.

Develop best practices in new electrical generation technologies and heat recovery with the aim of energy reduction and overall efficiencies increase.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's Science degree in engineering, preferred thermo-mechanical, electro-mechanical or equivalent formation, with specialization on green sources electrical generation

At least 5 year experience working on project management in Electrical and Heat Generation

Project Management training (PM, Prince 2 or equivalent formation)

Negotiation capabilities both with internal teams and external suppliers.

Interpersonal skills: team player, respectful, asks questions, teaching and mentoring

Fluent in written and speaking English, other languages is a plus.

Good communicational skills Office Package, MS Project and AutoCAD, 3D design software is a plus

Occasional site travel within Australia when required
