Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets in the APAC market.
  • Lead and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and alignment with company objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Foster strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.
  • Oversee pricing and contract negotiations to optimise profitability and competitiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all sales activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commercial Director - Sales should have:

  • Proven experience in sales leadership within the industrial, mining or manufacturing sectors.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs in APAC.
  • Exceptional strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a high-performing team.
  • Proficiency in analysing data and preparing detailed reports.
  • A tertiary qualification in business, sales, or a related field is desirable
