Michael Page are currently recruiting a Contracts Administrator role for large Tier 2 builder based on the inner north side of Brisbane. They deliver large commercial projects up to $100m in value. Due to a very strong pipeline of projects they are looking to expand their commercial team with the addition of a Contracts Administrator.
  • Commercial projects $30-100m
  • Longer term career path towards Project Management and/or Commercial Management

About Our Client

Our client is a large Tier 2 commercial head contractor who deliver projects including commercial buildings, schools (QLD Gov and private), industrial warehouses and more. Most projects are in the range of $30-100m in value. Every year they win numerous industry accolades, both for their quality projects and also as an employer of choice. Due to a very strong forward work book, a strong financial position and internal growth they are looking to add a Contract Administrator to their commercial team.

Job Description

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Writing scopes of works
  • Negotiating and letting sub-contracts
  • Involvement with monthly cost reports
  • Variations

The Successful Applicant

Selection criteria will include:

  • Proven track record in a similar role delivering building and construction projects
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Experience with modern construction software systems e.g. Jobpac, Cheops, Procore, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
