Job Description

Key responsibilities of the role include (but are not limited to):

  • Preparing, evaluating, and managing tender and proposal processes, including drafting documentation, pricing submissions, negotiations, and terms and conditions reviews.
  • Reviewing variations to standard contract terms and conditions, preparing responses to mitigate risk and liability while achieving favourable commercial outcomes.
  • Maintaining live contract validity through the Customer Contract Register, including managing variations, claims, supplier performance reviews, and pricing reviews.
  • Ensuring compliance with organisational policies and external regulations.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in end-to-end contract management within engineering, construction, or similar industries.
  • The ability to work autonomously with a diverse contract base.
  • Strong technical skills in tender processes, risk assessment, and contract negotiation.
  • Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in law, engineering, quantity surveying, or a related field.
  • A collaborative and professional approach to working in a small team environment.
