Contract Administrator role available for a large Tier 2 builder on the north side of Brisbane. This is a long term career opportunity with progression pathways towards both Project Management and/or Commercial Management.

About Our Client

Michael Page are currently recruiting a Contract Administrator role for a large, well known Tier 2 commercial builder based on the inner north side of Brisbane. They deliver projects in the range of $20-100m in sectors including defence, education, industrial and general commercial. They are known in the industry for their commitment to ongoing staff development and training, and have a very stable management team both at the mid level and executive level.

Job Description

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Writing scopes of works
  • Negotiating and letting sub-contracts
  • Involvement with monthly cost reports
  • Variations

The Successful Applicant

Selection criteria will include:

  • Proven track record in a similar role delivering building and construction projects
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Experience with modern construction software systems e.g. Jobpac, Cheops, Procore, etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • A competitive salary, expected to be in the range of $130-170k + super
  • Flexible start date (July/August)
