The role will be centred around the complete commercial and contract management of up to 5 existing key customers. The role will be relatively autonomous and relatively balanced across both pre-award and post-award.
  • Opportunity to autonomously manage an existing contract suite.
  • Opportunity to travel to local sites as required.

Their focus on both growth and diversification has enabled them to become the provider of choice within the oil/gas and renewable space.

Job Description

  • Previous experience and the ability to prepare, evaluate, and manage the tender and proposal process. This may include but is not limited to general tender documentation, pricing submissions, negotiations, term and conditions reviews etc.
  • The ability to review variations to regular standard terms and conditions and prepare responses as required to mitigate risk and liability whilst simultaneously achieving favourable commercial outcomes.
  • Maintain the validity of live contracts which may include but is not limited to variations, claims, supplier performance reviews, pricing reviews likely across 3 to 4 key customers.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Ideally qualifications or equivalent experience within law, engineering, or quantity surveying or previous experience in an oil/gas operator.
  • Previous experience within operational logistics or managing logistics as a category.
  • Previous experience or the ability to manage the complete contract life cycle inclusive of renewals, variations etc.

Our client is based in the Perth CBD but with the variety to visit essential sites as required and therefore they maintain a mature approach to flexibility and prefer to adopt an outcome based management style.
