About Our Client
Our client is a large multinational manufacturing company responsible for one of the largest FMCG companies in New Zealand. They are leading specialists in providing solutions for production and manufacturing products. The Group is looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to join their city fringe office.
This role is respsonsible for supporting the Australian and New Zealand business units by providing commercial legal advice to the executive team. The Contracts Manager will work closely with the Senior Legal Counsel and advise on packaging supply, capital equipment and service businesses in Oceania, as well as across the APAC region as needs arise. The day to day tasks will include advising on internal policies, regulatory and compliance matters, drafting and negotiating high value/complex contracts.
The Successful Applicant
This role requires a commercially savvy lawyer, ideally from a mid-top tier law firm or who has in-house experience. The succesful candidate will have a strong track record of handling complex commercial and legal matters in a broad spectrum of subject areas such as contracts, construction projects, labour and employment.
