About Our Client
My client is a nationally recognised retailer that has been in operation for over 40 years. As a result of their strong business performance in recent times, a long-term opportunity has become available in the Finance team.
Job Description
Reporting into the CFO, you will be responsible for:
- Preparing various financial statements (monthly, half-yearly, annually)
- Payment Timing Reporting Scheme submissions
- Maintenance of Lease database and ensuring compliance with AASB 16 -Leases
- Process improvement and Documentation
- Contribute to system implementation and change management
- Assist CFO with Financial Year end and Audit
- Liaison with external company auditors
- Ad-hoc compliance and reporting work
The Successful Applicant
Successful candidate:
- CA or CPA qualified
- Available at short notice
- Minimum 4 years experience in accounting
- Advanced Excel skills essential
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills
- Proactive individual who can also work autonomously
