Cost Accountant

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

Financial Transaction Management

• Accuracy of day-to-day financial transactions including order processing, invoicing, debtor and credit management, payroll, and banking transactions along with overseeing inventory controls.

End of Month & Board Reporting

• Completion of all reconciliations to produce end of month reporting for each business unit covering P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports. Timely reporting and analysis against budgets, and operating plans and forecasts.

Product Cost Modelling & BOMs

• Accuracy and adjustments made to bill of materials that reflect raw material variances, production and labour costs to ensure that our product costs are accurate at all times.

Statutory Reporting

• Ensuring statutory obligations are correctly calculated and met. PAYG, GST, Payroll Tax, Work Cover, Superannuation as directed.

Capital Investments

• Correct management and process of capital spend and reporting.

Strategic Planning, Forecasting, & Budgeting

• Annual budget planning, monthly forecasting, and quarterly planning. Analysis of actual v forecast - Month, YTD, v LY

Management of Company Accounts

• Accuracy of transactions being correctly coded and managed within all software systems (Netsuite, Xero). Management and accounting of offshore USA entity.

Management of Finance Resources

• Management, training, and development of lower-level team members.
