Our client is a large, well-established organisation operating across industrial and regulated sectors, with a strong focus on compliance, data integrity, and workforce entitlements. They are currently undertaking a strategic review of long service leave data following a recent legal judgement, and require expert support to ensure accuracy and future readiness.

Job Description

You'll be responsible for reviewing and deconstructing a legacy Excel spreadsheet. The role involves identifying miscalculations, mapping inconsistencies, stress-testing formulas, and collaborating with other analysts to rebuild the model. Your fresh perspective will be key in uncovering hidden issues and unlocking opportunities for improvement.

The Successful Applicant

  • Advanced Excel skills, including formula auditing, data mapping, and model restructuring
  • Experience working with payroll, finance, or statutory datasets
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and communicate findings clearly
  • Comfortable diving into complex, messy data and making sense of it
