About Our Client
This company has +90,000 employees across the world and sells their products to more than 200 countries. This is a newly created position that will be based in the NZ branch, in Auckland, to be part of a high performance planning team.
Job Description
In this position, you will be responsible for managing all areas of the demand and supply planning for the home appliances portfolio. This includes S&OP, forecasting, reporting and systems/process development.
You'll work closely with the Product Managers and liaise with the headquarters in South Korea to optimise inventory and assure the forecast accuracy.
The Successful Applicant
To succeed in this position, you must be a Korean speaking professional with experience in demand or supply planning and excellent communications skills in both Korean and English to liaise with the internal stakeholders and be part of the S&OP process.
Alternatively, if you are a Korean speaker professional with financial background or strong data analytic skills and would like to step into demand planning space, you are also welcome to apply since the company offers training to develop the forecasting skills.
Strong Excel skills is important as you will be responsible for analysing data and trends, build reports and extract information from the ERP to forecast.
This position is part of an international team, so availability to work out of business hours is also required, this will include weekend work due to the nature of the forecasting cycle.
