Desktop/ Infrastucture Support - 6 month fixed term contract

About Our Client
Our client works in the professional services sector and currently is experiencing a prolonged period of growth, due to this they are currently looking to grow and expand their current IT team from 11 to 13, This team looks after their national user base which is currently sitting at 250 + users. Report in directly to the operations manager and the service desk team lead, you'll be mentored and provided plenty of on the job training.
Your day to day will be to be the first and second line of IT support for our clients internal staff, follow standard service desk procedures in an environment which will consist of 50% of inbound calls and 50% face to face support. This includes support for laptops, phones, printers and mobile handsets as well as applications, software and user access.
Perform hardware and software installations and troubleshooting, manage incident requests and escalate when and if required. Ultimately this role is about providing exceptional customer service!
The Successful Applicant
The Successful candidate:
- Drive and passion for providing exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Proven experience of working in Windows 8-10 Operating systems
- Basic knowledge of network management and LAN/WAN concepts
- Proven ability to troubleshoot level 1 and 2 technical issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
