After achieving a market‑leading position overseas, the business is now expanding into Australia. With pilots underway and new clients onboarding, the company is scaling its Australian sales and customer function to support an exciting next phase of growth.

Job Description

  • Drive new business acquisition across life, workers compensation and general insurance sectors.
  • Build and deepen relationships with senior stakeholders across underwriting, claims, risk and executive leadership.
  • Lead complex, multi‑stage sales cycles and manage high‑value enterprise opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, operations and customer teams to ensure seamless implementation and long‑term account success.
  • Establish scalable sales processes and contribute to broader go‑to‑market strategy as the Australian operation grows.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Director of Sales should have:

  • Extensive network within life insurance or closely adjacent sectors, with strong reach into workers compensation and general insurance.
  • Demonstrated capability managing long, complex enterprise sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders across risk, underwriting, claims and executive levels.
  • A genuine hunter mindset, paired with strong emotional intelligence-able to create momentum while nurturing long‑term, collaborative relationships.
  • Highly structured, persistent and methodical, with the discipline to manage high‑volume stakeholder engagement throughout lengthy sales processes.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional activity both during and after the sale; comfortable operating within a shared‑resource model.
