Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsUnique opportunity across the engineering industryGlobal business working across multiple verticalsAbout Our ClientOur client is a global brand with technical experts providing risk management, forensic and engineering science expertise, building consulting, investigative and recovery solutions across the insurance industry.Job DescriptionLead forensic investigations into electrical failures, fire origins, and system malfunctions across residential, commercial, and industrial sites.Conduct detailed site inspections, evidence collection, and failure analysis.Interpret electrical schematics, control systems, and power distribution networks to identify causation.Prepare comprehensive technical reports and expert witness statements suitable for legal and insurance contexts.Provide expert testimony in court or arbitration proceedings as required.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge development.Liaise with clients, insurers, legal teams, and other stakeholders to communicate findings and support resolution.Stay abreast of industry standards, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies relevant to forensic electrical engineering.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's or Chartered Professional Engineer status preferred).Electrical engineering professional experience across either the building service and/or the energy industry.
