About Our Client

Queensland Magnesia (QMAG) is a leading producer and supplier of high-quality magnesia products, operating from one of the world's largest deposits of cryptocrystalline magnesite in Queensland.

This role is responsible for overseeing the electrical maintenance team, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems at our operations on site.

Job Description

As an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the electrical maintenance team.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address electrical issues.
  • Train and mentor electrical maintenance staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Facilitate regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Manage maintenance budget and resources efficiently.
  • Provide technical support in troubleshooting and solving electrical problems.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Electrical Maintenance Supervisor should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in electrical systems maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and technical knowledge.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality.
