Job Description

  • Provide technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain end-user devices and peripherals.
  • Manage user accounts and access permissions within the organisation's systems.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth system upgrades and rollouts.
  • Document technical processes and maintain accurate records of user requests and resolutions.
  • Monitor and maintain the performance of end-user systems to minimise downtime.
  • Provide training and support to staff on the use of technology tools and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational IT policies and security standards.

The Successful Applicant

A successful End User Technician should have:

  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Experience with installing and maintaining end-user devices and peripherals.
  • Familiarity with user account management and system permissions.
  • Strong communication skills for training and supporting staff.
  • Attention to detail and excellent record-keeping abilities.
  • Knowledge of IT security practices and policies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment within the transport and distribution industry.
