Specialising in high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) power system design, analysis, and commissioning, they are known for their technical excellence and strong project delivery. Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers and draftees, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
  • Oversee the delivery of electrical engineering projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with client expectations.
  • Review and approve electrical designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal quality processes.
  • Manage project resources, budgets, and timelines, working closely with project managers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align technical solutions with project goals and operational needs.
  • Support the Engineering Manager as second-in-command, contributing to team strategy, capability development, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to proposals and bids, providing technical input and helping secure new project opportunities.
  • Conduct occasional site visits to support commissioning, client engagement, or project reviews.

The successful candidate is a confident and experienced engineering leader with a passion for delivering high-quality electrical solutions. They bring a balance of technical depth and people leadership, thrive in a fast-paced project environment, and are motivated by mentoring others and driving continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering with extensive HV experience (33-66kV)
  • Proven leadership in engineering teams and complex project delivery
  • Strong technical background in both primary and secondary systems design
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Full Australian working rights
