Job Description

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers to achieve project goals and timelines.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and optimisation of energy-related systems and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards across all projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, reports, and budgets.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Engineering Team Leader should have:

  • A tertiary qualification in engineering or a related discipline.
  • CPENG status or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of energy and natural resources projects, with a focus across the HV engineering sector.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
