Michael Page are currently recruiting an Estimator position for a leading construction company based on the outskirts of Brisbane CBD. Their Brisbane office has gone from strength to strength in recent years and they are looking for someone who wants to play a leading role in their ongoing success. Projects include commercial new build, refurbishment, retail and industrial projects up to $20m in value.

About Our Client

Our client is a national builder who deliver commercial building projects up to $20m in value. Their Brisbane office has gone from strength to strength in recent years and currently has approximately 50 team members. Due to their ambitious growth plans, they are looking for an Estimator who can play a leading role within their pre-construction team.

Job Description

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Taking the lead on tender submissions
  • Attending tender interviews
  • Producing Bills of Quantities

The Successful Applicant

Selection criteria will include:

  • Proven track record within the commercial building sector
  • Strong relationship building skills with clients, sub-contractors
  • Good understanding of the current sub-contractor market in SEQ
