About Our Client

My client is an NFP membership body within the healthcare space. ***Please note my client is located in Melbourne, Australia. To be able to apply for this role you must be able to be at the Melbourne office 2 days per week.***

Job Description

  • Coordinate and execute events, particularly on online platforms
  • Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, budgeting, and timeline management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Oversee event registration, ticketing, and RSVP tracking.
  • Assist with event marketing and promotion, including social media, email campaigns, and other communication channels.
  • Prepare post-event reports, analyze event success, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide administrative support for the organization's event-related activities, such as scheduling, budget tracking, and record keeping.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using event management software, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Positive attitude, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
  • Passion for the mission of the non-profit organization and commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
