About Our Client

My client is a premium supplier for building services , water management and industrial applications. They have evolved into a global players across their markets over a long and successful history.

Job Description

  • Establish, develop and maintain a customer network suitable for product and brand
  • Call on town and country plumbing, pump and irrigation shops
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within nominated timeframes
  • Structure client visits at set call cycles to ensure account growth
  • Promote product with technical training or in-store training sessions
  • Support Marketing with Promotional activities
  • Enter and maintain client information and sales activities in the designated CRM software
  • Understand client requirements and assist the Internal Technical Sales Engineers to provide tailored quotations
  • Negotiate sales pricing in line with strategy and confirm contract terms and conditions to meet both the client and company needs
  • Become competent and self-sufficient in relation to use of ERP system (MS Navision) to search pricing, costs, stock to support your customers
  • Become knowledgeable of the core product range for designated segment and be able to prepare quotations
  • Prepare sales forecast reporting and deliver presentations as required for the Managing Director
  • Be responsible for the analysis and reporting of sales territory and sales market potential
  • Provide input and feedback on market requirements for management to make informed decisions to improve

The Successful Applicant

Ideal applicants will possess previous technical sales experience. Proven practical exposure in pumps will be well received.

  • Proven strong sales and negotiation skills
  • High level of computer proficiency including CRM database experience and Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • High degree of time management and organisational skills
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Proven ability to draft and execute a detailed business plan for allocated sales territory
  • Strong command of the English language, including professional level proficiency in reading and writing

The External Sales Representative will be paid a competitive salary package consisting of Base + Super + Car Allowance + Bonus
