Job Description

Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, you will be supporting the finance team, in so performing the following responsibilities:

    • Compile and analyse financial information to prepare monthly management reports as well as finance board papers

    • Support the Commercial and Planning & Reporting team in extracting and reporting financial data

    • Liaising with Product/Customer/Channel/Technology Tribes and COE teams to gain insights on financial results

    • Performing as a conduit between the Commercial Finance and Planning & Reporting team and Financial Control team in driving reporting efficiency and framework

    • Support the Group Reporting Manager in compiling and analysing financial data on an ad-hoc basis

  • Support the maintenance and enforcement of group reporting governance

The Successful Applicant

  • An influencing finance analyst keen to join a business during a period of transformation to an Agile organisation
  • Self motivated with a strong dedication to improvements and keen to be part of a dynamic finance team
  • Adaptable and flexible to changes in priorities and demands
  • Good with BI/dashboards and Excel
  • Experience in month end financial reporting and Board reporting responsibilities in a retail environment
  • Experience in working with SAP and Power BI
  • Ability to prepare and analyse P&L reports
  • Ability to build BI/dashboard reports
  • A track record of driving financial reporting process improvement and ensuring end to end process simplification

  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
