The role is a standalone FP&A position focused on delivering accurate forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and commercial analysis to drive the businesses performance. It partners closely with non-finance and business leaders to provide insights, build business cases, and support investment and acquisition decisions.

Job Description

Forecasting, Budgeting & Reporting

  • Prepare accurate financial forecasts with clear assumptions and variance analysis.
  • Lead the annual budgeting cycle and maintain Excel-based financial models.
  • Produce monthly performance reports, including insightful commentary.
  • Drive ongoing improvements to reporting frameworks, forecasting tools, and BI systems.



Business Partnering

  • Work closely with clinic leads and practice managers to review performance and identify operational improvement opportunities.
  • Support clinics with business plans and commercial decision-making.
  • Communicate financial outcomes in a clear, accessible manner to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Provide timely responses to operational and financial queries from the business.



Commercial Analysis & Project Work

  • Conduct ad‑hoc financial and commercial analysis as required.
  • Build business cases and perform scenario modelling of light to moderate complexity.
  • Support the CFO with revenue insights and performance commentary.
  • Assist with due diligence and analysis for acquisitions, with PE partners supporting complex modelling.



Role Scope & Ways of Working

  • Operate as a standalone FP&A resource (no accounting or month-end responsibilities).
  • Engage regularly with a centralised finance team while being embedded in the business.
  • Rapidly get across existing reporting models and contribute to continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

  • CPA or CA qualified (preferred) or nearing completion.
  • Demonstrated FP&A experience - forecasting, budgeting, analysis, and business partnering.
  • Advanced Excel capability - able to build and manage financial models, reports, and analytical tools.
  • Strong commercial acumen - able to interpret financial information, identify drivers, and translate insights into business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly explaining financial concepts to non‑finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a standalone FP&A environment while supporting multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfort with scenario modelling, commercial analysis, and supporting investment/acquisition assessments.
  • A systems‑oriented, process‑improvement mindset with curiosity and proactive thinking.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence without authority, and operate effectively across a diverse, multi‑site environment.
