A mission-driven not-for-profit organisation dedicated to environmental conservation and biodiversity in Australia. Seeking a detail-oriented Finance Analyst to help drive financial health and growth within the organisation.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, monitor, and manage the organisation's annual budget.
  • Prepare financial forecasts to guide strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Analyse operational costs to identify areas for financial efficiency and savings.
  • Track financial performance against the budget and provide explanations for any variances.
  • Prepare and present financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with not-for-profit financial regulations and donor reporting requirements.

The Successful Applicant

About you:

  • Strong communication skills
  • CPA or CA qualified
  • Experience in financial analysis or management accounting
  • Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and variance analysis.
  • Proficiency with financial software
  • Passion for environmental sustainability and conservation.
