About Our Client

Our client is a major player in the Australian mining sector, known for its large‑scale operations and commitment to developing high‑performing finance talent.

Job Description

  • Partner with site GMs, production leaders, and Heads of Function to support strategic and operational decision‑making
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis across multiple sites
  • Prepare and present insights to senior leadership teams
  • Coordinate financial planning activities and ensure alignment with site strategy
  • Travel to site up to 8 days per month (flexible structure)
  • Work autonomously within a high‑performing, independent team



The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Business Partner should have:

  • CA/CPA qualified with strong accounting fundamentals.
  • Experience in mining, engineering, consulting, or heavy industry.
  • Confident presenting to senior stakeholders (GMs, Production, HOF).
  • Skilled in SAP, budgeting & forecasting systems (Prime desirable), and solid Excel capability.
  • Motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently.

Not suited to candidates from purely project or cost‑control backgrounds.

What's on Offer

Salary range: $150-170k + super (negotiable).

6‑month contract with genuine long‑term potential.

All site travel fully covered.
