As a Finance Controller, you will oversee the financial operations, ensuring compliance and efficiency for the team and wider business. This role involves driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support business success in the freight management and solutions industry. This role will be predominately on-site with flexibility on office times offered for the successful candidate.
  • $150K - $160K plus superannuation.

Job Description

  • Manage and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations for business growth.
  • Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management.
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall business objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks effectively.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Controller will be able to demonstrate:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA or CA.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
