An experienced Finance Manager is required to join a busy team within the oil and gas sector, focusing on Accounting, Process improvements, Regulatory and compliance adherence. The role requires a strategic thinker and leader with a knack for problem-solving, ready to contribute to a high-performing team in Perth. This position reports directly in to the CFO.
  • A broad and autonomous, immediate start assignment in the oil and gas sector.
  • Conveniently based in Perth's CBD.

Job Description

  • Analysing business processes and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Developing and implementing business strategies and procedures.
  • Working closely with various departments to facilitate change.
  • Collaborating with the procurement team to ensure best practice across all systems.
  • Assisting in budget planning and management.
  • Compiling detailed reports on project outcomes.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry, regulatory and company standards.
  • Providing input into strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of financial systems and processes

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager - Systems should have:

  • A CA or CPA Qualification
  • Substantial experience in a similar role within the resources sector
  • Previous experience with Tech One would be highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software and Excel.
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently.
