They are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Financial Accounting Manager to support their continued growth.

Job Description

  • Manage and oversee financial accounting operations ensuring precision and timely financial reporting.
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly financial reports for head office and shareholders, including cost centre analysis and cash flow oversight.
  • Design and implement robust financial accounting processes, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance.
  • Guarantee compliance with IFRS standards and local regulations, preparing technical accounting papers as required.
  • Monitor and assess the financial performance of cost centres, offering strategic insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Supervise the preparation of consolidated group financial reports for the Financial Controller, assisting with board-level financial discussions.
  • Challenge and evaluate existing financial processes, driving continuous improvement or better outcomes.
  • Resolve emerging accounting challenges with a balanced approach that meets both compliance requirements and commercial objectives.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor in finance, collaborating closely with other business units to align financial strategies with overall corporate goals.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, development, and continuous learning in financial reporting and technical accounting standards.



The Successful Applicant

  • CPA/CA certification with significant experience in a similar role.
  • Big 4 experience is a must
  • Expertise in technical accounting, including a thorough understanding of IFRS and tax regulations.
  • Prior experience leading and mentoring a finance team
  • Knowledge of tax compliance processes, with the ability to manage tax reporting
  • Experience with multiple ERP systems.
  • A strategic mindset, consistently questioning and refining financial processes to introduce innovative improvements.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, skilled at managing complex financial transactions while ensuring compliance.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to translate financial data into strategic business insights.
  • Resilient and adaptable, with a proactive approach to driving continuous improvement within financial operations.
