We are looking for a Finance Manager to lead our financial reporting, accounting, and analysis in a fast-paced Property and Real Estate environment. This role requires strategic oversight of budgets, forecasts, and financial compliance, ensuring that the company's financial health supports its growth and investment goals.

Job Description

Financial Analysis/Planning:

  • Oversee and contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Oversee and contribute to conducting variance analysis, providing insights to management regarding financial performance.



Reporting:

  • Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements in compliance with applicable regulations, accounting principles, and company policies.
  • Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including reconciliations and consolidations.
  • Present detailed financial results and analyses to senior management and stakeholders, emphasising key trends, variances, and actionable recommendations.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.



Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills, focusing on areas such as financial reporting, compliance, and analysis.



Ad-hoc Analysis:

  • Conduct projects and analyses as required by senior management, providing actionable recommendations based on findings to inform decision-making and strategic direction.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experienced Finance Manager in the property industry.
  • Experience managing multiple junior team members.
  • CPA or CA qualified.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong managerial skills.
