Job Description

  • Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed
  • Statutory and financial reporting including annual financial statements
  • Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Support the audit process
  • Income tax and BAS processing
  • Processing annual ATO payment reports
  • Fuel tax reporting
  • Preparation of regulatory reporting and tax forms
  • Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
  • Lead the finance team and foster a collaborative working environment
  • Review financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions
  • Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CA)
  • Strong knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
  • Experience with financial software and advanced MS Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership abilities and experience in team management
  • Experience in the property industry is a plus
