With a team that works on a unified approach they are coming to market with an exciting new Financial Accountant role.

Job Description

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial accounting, including preparing and processing journal entries with precision and efficiency.
  • Maintain and update Fixed Asset Registers, ensuring accurate recording of CapEx and financial leases.
  • Review balance sheets, general ledgers, and reconciliations to maintain financial integrity.
  • Take charge of month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring deadlines are met with accuracy.
  • Collaborate on year-end audits across multiple entities (statutory and non-statutory), ensuring compliance and seamless processes.
  • Analyse financial data to uncover cost-saving opportunities and provide actionable insights.
  • Create detailed monthly/quarterly financial reports, complete with clear, insightful commentary.
  • Contribute to system and process enhancement initiatives, streamlining financial operations.
  • Tackle ad hoc projects and tasks, showcasing adaptability and problem-solving skills.



The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CA / CPA Qualification
  • Intermediate / advanced Excel skills
  • Experience within a Big 4 / Mid Tier background is highly preferable
  • Experience within a fast paced and complex environment
