About Our Client

Our client is a fast‑growing, multi‑entity retail business operating across APAC. They pride themselves on a high‑performance finance function and are expanding due to continued growth and increased operational complexity.

Job Description

  • Full ownership of balance sheet accounts across APAC, including month‑end reconciliations.
  • Property‑related accounting, including loan schedules and interest accruals.
  • Intercompany eliminations, weekly reconciliation of loan balances and consolidation entries.
  • Preparation of audit workpapers and acting as the primary contact for external auditors.
  • Management of leave liabilities, director loan accounting and fixed asset registers.
  • Clearing suspense accounts and ensuring accurate re‑invoicing and entity allocations.
  • Preparation of income tax and BAS/GST working papers across all entities.
  • Maintenance and periodic update of deferred tax assets and liabilities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified or part‑qualified accountant (CA/CPA or equivalent).
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge across balance sheet ownership and reconciliations.
  • Experience with multi‑entity accounting, intercompany eliminations and consolidation.
  • Confident in audit preparation, fixed assets, tax compliance and month‑end processes.
  • High attention to detail and strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, hands‑on and growing finance environment.
