Job Description

  • Prepare and manage financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Provide financial analysis and support to key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualifications such as CA or CPA (or working towards).
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work.
