Job Description
Reporting to the Finance Manager, responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Preparation of month-end results and accounting accruals
- Financial analysis of results against budget/forecast
- Assist with the preparation of monthly reporting packs
- Balance sheet reconciliations and adjustments
- Continual involvement in process improvement initiatives across the group finance team
- Support the other accounting team members with ad hoc requirements
- Data analysis
- Assist with Finance project work, audit and statutory lodgements
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate is an excellent communicator and has a passion for career growth. They also have:
- Tertiary degree in finance/accounting and completed CA/CPA qualifications
- 3+ year's accounting experience in a medium to large sized business or Big 4/chartered first-time-mover
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong MS Excel and analytical skills
- ERP system experience
