About Our Client

Reporting directly to the General Manager, your role will be a broad one requiring you to be in the detail, but also a strong business partner to the leadership team and board. You will be responsible for leading the accounting function and in a key leadership role will see you working closely with senior leaders to drive a positive and collaborative work culture, in line with their values and mission.

Job Description

Reporting into the General Manager, this role will see you take the reigns across Finance and other business units, key duties including:

  • Lead the development of annual budgets
  • Manage financial operations and reporting requirements for clients.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Prepare periodic financial statements and grant acquittal statements as required.
  • Prepare and present projected cash flows, business plans, and management reports.
  • Demonstrate leadership by effectively managing and developing a team.
  • Coordinate day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, banking, and payroll services.
  • Foster productive working relationships with other business units to deliver seamless support services.



The Successful Applicant

You are CA/CPA qualified and have rack record and reputation as a finance leader. You have highly developed technical accounting skills and commercial acumen. You see the big picture and are leader who can resonate with their team compassionately.

You are a natural leader with integrity, have the confidence and credibility to engage effectively and build relationships at Board level, and with senior executives and operational stakeholders. Experience within a Not for Profit environment will be heavily regarded.
